Persons with the wisdom to attend caught the premier of a wonderful western song entitled "Montana Skies", written and performed by our own Vaude deVille, with a git-fiddle accompaniment by none other than our musical director and master pianist Terry Shaw. If there is a limit to the talent of either performer, it has yet to be discovered. Vaude also did a boffo performance of Valjean’s prayer ("Bring Him Home") from "Les Miserables." Frank Kinney presented a pair of rousers - "Who Can I Turn To?" and "Just In Time."

Voices combined in a number of delightful tunes which included: "Catch a Falling Star" by The Starlight Quartet (Mary Margaret McFarland, Michele Penberthy, Mary Ann Shann, and Julia Taylor); "42nd Street", the Prime Time Tappers accompanied by Four Seniors Only (Bill Dergan, Mary Petzold, Joanie Roper, and Bob Williams); "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy", with Lillian Egan, Mary Margaret McFarland, and Joanie Roper out-harmonizing the Andrews Sisters; "All I Ask of You" (Patrick Dougherty and Mary Petzold); and "Brush Up Your Shakespeare" (Bill Johnson and Jim Cunningham).

Two comic numbers that absolutely brought down the house were a foppish Vaude deVille and a seriously top-heavy Brunhilde (Jeanne Vosburgh) at war with each other in "La Donna e Mobilé", and Mary Petzold and Frank Kinney flitting about the stage in "Be My Little Baby Bumblebee", protected by a host of honey bees from those who would catch (Vaude) or swat (Bill Siegwarth). Don and Sally Hancock proved once more that they are irrepressible jokesters!

Interspersed with all of this vocal magic were outstanding dance numbers, one of which was a solo tap by Mary Cullen to "All My Life." The others, and they truly sparkled throughout, were "Eastbound and Down", by the Prime Time Tappers, "42th Street", also by the Prime Time Tappers, and "Alexander’s Ragtime Band" by the Ragtime Five. Wrinkles of Washington dancers are certainly no less versatile than their vocal counterparts, appearing in various combinations in a number of diverse ensembles. Our praise to all, wherever they appeared - Chris Brewis-Roberts, Mary Cullen, Lillian Egan, Donna Kine, Patty Kolstad, Phyllis LaFontaine, Dixie Maske, Jeanie Patterson, Helen Siegwarth, Ruth Solberg, Jeanne Vosburgh, Georgia Williams and Sharon Williams.
